Celebrating 40 years of pioneering Birth Equity. Since 1986, HealthConnect One has been the national leader in advancing respectful, community-based, peer-to-peer support for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and early parenting. Our vision is bold yet simple: every baby, mother and family thrives in a healthy community.
We don't just talk about equity—we live it. Through our community health worker programs, doula support networks, and breastfeeding peer counselor initiatives, we're reshaping how families experience the most transformative moments of their lives. In 2026, our 40th anniversary year, we’re embarking on our most ambitious expansion yet; we are looking for change makers and catalysts to join our movement.
HealthConnect One is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Chicago, IL. Members of the HeathConnect One team work remotely as our staff are based in different states across the country. Positions are virtual with occasional travel for training, conferences and team gatherings. New roles are added regularly as we grow our impact!
